I spent 6 hours wandering around the Tower of London today with at least 15lbs of laptop and camera gear on my back. My feet are throbbing, but it was well worth it.

And yes, I actually worked out that weight. I've been wondering how much that bag weighs for a while.

If you throw in the stuff I didn't lookup weights for, like chargers, flash cable, remote shutter release, CF reader, 3G modem, bluetooth mouse, and a bottle of water, that'll easily add another couple pounds.

It's not just my feet, my shoulders are aching too. I could sure use a massage.
